Those of you who called us lucky sh!tes before we left and imagined us to be gliding through the endless whistler powder while the snow glistned in the bright sunshine will be pleased to know it's been pissing it down for the past 2 days. Yet again, Janet has brought the scottish weather with her.
We were quite excited as we landed in vancouver where there was a light dusting of snow which deepened as we got nearer whistler - so much so that the bus kept getting stuck. While we were looking for our chalet in the middle of the night, I walked into a ditch up to my neck in snow and Janet fell over (laughing). Not long after it started raining and hasnt stopped since.
We ventured into the village yesterday and saw a bear wandering around before he disappeared into the woods (for a #2 presumably). Still haven't made it up the mountain yet, maybe tomorrow. Todays plan is to buy some tonic and coke for our duty free and some beers to enjoy in the hot tub later.

Trust me when I say the weathere is bad here too - it just I would really like to be where you guys are... Glas to hear that you got there without any major hitches. Sara and I are still keen to pop over some time so please keep intouch!
